Axuan (played by Huang Xuan) is a young man with a deep passion for art. He dropped out of school at an early age and lives in a basement, devoting himself entirely to his artistic creations. One day, by chance, Axuan comes across an old, dust-covered diary. The diary belonged to a woman named Alan (played by Jiang Wenli) and was written when she was 18 years old. It records a youthful and innocent romance. Axuan is deeply moved by the diary.

What Axuan never expected was that he would meet Alan in real life. Now, Alan is 36 years old. Influenced by the diary, Axuan becomes fascinated and curious about her. Without revealing the existence of the diary, he begins to recreate the moments and details described in it when he's with Alan, stirring up ripples in her heart. As this process unfolds, Axuan also realizes that his feelings toward Alan have begun to change.
